![]() Similar to other EC2 instances, customers can easily use EC2 M1 Mac instances together with AWS services and features like Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for network security, Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) for expandable storage, Amazon Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) for distributing build queues, and Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for OS image orchestration. Customers can also consolidate development of cross-platform Apple, Windows, and Android apps onto AWS, leading to increased developer productivity and accelerated time to market. Customers rearchitecting their macOS applications to natively support ARM64 architecture on Apple SoC can now enjoy faster builds with bare metal performance and convenient distributed testing without having to procure, install, manage, patch, and upgrade physical build infrastructure. Now with EC2 M1 Mac instances, Apple developers can enjoy up to 60% better price performance over x86-based EC2 Mac instances for iOS and macOS application build workloads, while enjoying the same elasticity, scalability, and reliability that AWS’s secure, on-demand infrastructure has offered to millions of customers for more than a decade. Apple-designed M1 SoC also enables ARM64 architecture for the first time on Apple macOS. M1 is the first personal computer SoC built using cutting-edge 5-nanometer process technology, combines numerous powerful technologies into a single chip, and features a unified memory architecture for improved performance and efficiency. The pressure is on Nelson this week as he is expected to win or podium every time he's on the track. Nelson, who originally had plans to race supercross in 2012, has decided to keep his amateur status for one more season with the hopes of going pro aboard a Troy Lee Designs Honda following Loretta's. In the Open Pro class it was the return of Jessy Nelson that made headlines. A holeshot and a moto win to kick off the week should give Epstein the momentum. Healthy and ready to roll, Epstein lined up against the likes of Zach Bell, Jeremy Martin, Justin Hill and the rest of the stacked pro class and never looked back. Dillan Epstein has been a force over in amateur motocross throughout the years, but injury has kept him from reaching his true potential. In the Pro class an unlikely hero made himself known. And while a qualifying win won't do much for your overall, it can definitely set you up for a title run in the main events. The first part of the week is spent on the supercross track with the second part moving over to the outdoor track. It ultimately marks the end of Silly Season for the amateur community and is the proving ground that sets the stage for the 2012 calendar. While Mini O's is technically the final amateur national of the season, for those in the know, it's more of a preview of what's to come for 2012.
